    Description

A fine lovely southeast Asian, Khmer Cambodian silvered bronze deity, probably bahpoun period, 10-11 century
This is a lovely, well modeled fine cast Khmer silvered bronze
    .
This bronze was most likely a part of a larger altar, including other deities.
The bronze has a strong face and a strong presence, despite the small size. It must have held an instrument or an attribute that is now missing.
The silver coating is still vividly evident. However, there are some losses due to age as the patina runs deep into the bronze.
