It is an exquisite set, with the original Tiffany packaging (box and pouches). Like new condition.
The ring is domed at the front(see pics) and is a real “knockout!” It is both highly desired and hard to find. I guarantee that once you put it on, you will never want to take it off!!
This set was purchased at Tiffany’s by my father-in-law. It is not a knock off! It is genuine sterling silver, with 14K gold accents. I inherited this set almost 20 years ago, and it has been sitting unused in my jewelry box all this time. The set is marked Tiffany & Co, in letters that are so small, they are all but invisible to the human eye (it is amazing how they do this - I had to use a magnifying glass and light source to read them!). I also see 14k & sterling silver markings. THEY ARE NOT STAMPED with a logo that can be easily photographed, as seen in many of the fake pieces.They are ENGRAVED and unobtrusive, a hallmark of a REAL Tiffany piece.
The earrings are clip, not post.The clasps are the unobtrusive, low profile, wire ones you find on fine jewelry (nothing at all like the ones found on inexpensive, costume jewelry, that can pinch your ears!). Even if you find posts on heavier, quality pieces, low profile clasps are often used instead of the usual butterfly backs to secure the earrings. This is done to take the weight and “pull” off the ear lobe, making them more comfortable to wear (how many times have you seen this pulling on others wearing larger or heavier earrings and wondered....??? This eliminates this problem!).
