    This is a wonderful Antique Mounted Primitive Wood Buddha Figure from
    Thailand
    .  This unique piece was purchased in Bangkok in the early 1970's by my father who was an antique dealer in Penang, Malaysia at the time.  Based on my experience & knowledge of these type of figures, I estimate this item dates to at least before the Turn of the Century.  Please note the Buddha's elongated face and exaggerated ear size.
    Please review the pictures closely in regards to the condition of this Buddha figure.  Overall the Buddha figure is in Very
    Fine
    Condition with no damage, however since a flash was used a portion of the glue used on the wood base is reflected back in a few of the pictures (See Picture #11 & #12)
    Buddha Dimensions: 2 inches wide at the base & 5 inches high with a depth of 1 1/4 inch. Height with Wood Base is 5 7/8 inches.
