4 Cambridge Vaseline Uranium Glass Green Depression Decagon 8” Salad Plates. Cambridge Glass Company began in 1873. They began making colored transparent glass in the late 1920's. The Cambridge mark is located on the bottom of each plate with a triangle with a "c" in the middle of that triangle. The plates are in near mint condition. They look brand new. No chips or cracks. There are a few straw marks & minute air bubbles which is normal with glass making. From what I can see there is one small white ash trapped in the glass in one of the plates. These things do not take away from the beauty or value of the plates. Glass was tested under ultraviolet light and Geiger counter tested with a reading of 1041 cpm (counts per minute) which confirms the plates are positive for uranium.
